CD burn- format choice
« on: May 15, 2006, 04:45:51 PM »
I work on Mac, but need to burn Mac OS and PC [hybrid] CD's so my customers on PC's & Mac's can both open the files. I don't see a dialog in PM that specifies the format- so what is the format?

Thanks,

Richard Anderson

It is "Joliet with extensions" which should work fine on Mac OS X and Windows PCs.  I have tried it myself and it works fine (at least on Windows XP.)

It should just work.

Thanks Kirk-

I do think it is important to have info in the program- the way Toast does- to reassure people that folks on the other end can read the CD. I'm not into Beta testing on my clients, But if it's Joliet with extensions, it should be OK.
