GPS Coordinates: "You are using a browser that is not supported"

(1/1)

jr_ed:
This may have already been addressed somewhere, but the only post I'm pulling up on it is from 2016. When I try to set GPS coordinates for a photo (either by using File -> Import GPS Coordinates... or Image -> Set GPS Coordinates...) I'm getting a warning on the map that "You are using the browser that is not support by the Google Maps JavaScript API." Based on the 2016 post it sounds like you are emulating a version of IE, so I'm guessing this is somehow tied into Microsoft's dropping of IE as a supported browser.

Is this a known issue with plans for a fix, or it is unique to my system somehow? It currently falls only into the minor-annoyance category as I can simply ignore it or click "Dismiss" on the warning.

I'm on version 6.0, build 6026, which I think is the latest.

I'm having the same issue with PM+ V6.0 Build 6026
and W10 is up to date

Yes, known issue.  We have plans to fix it, yes.

It is fixed in the latest builds of Photo Mechanic 6 and Photo Mechanic Plus. It will not be fixed in Photo Mechanic 5.
