Folder Delete without warning

It is possible to delete a whole folder with the mouse's right-click menu. PM does not require a confirmation of the delete, but just goes ahead. This is very dangerous when your images are sitting on a server. Thousands of images can be deleted with a simple accidental click.

Can you please put in a confirmation dialog, so that this doesn't happen. We just found out the hard way, fortunately we're backed up on an external drive.

PM on the Mac tells the Finder to move the folder to the Trash.  Doesn't the folder get moved to the Trash instead of being deleted outright?

That is correct, but when viewing images on a networked server they get deleted outright. If I try to delete a folder in the finder, a dialog box appears warning that the files will be deleted immediately.

OK, well I'll see if there is a way for me to tell that a given folder is on a non-local volume and if so, provide a warning dialog.

I added the warning dialog in this morning.  You'll see it in 4.5.1...

Just found out that it is still possible to delete a folder without warning by dragging it to the trash. On a networked volume the folder (and it's contents) get deleted outright. This is in PM 4.5.1 beta 2.

I know we discussed mouse right-click before, but this is still an issue.

I added the code to warn when dragging to the trash (folders only).  It will appear in the final 4.5.1 version.
