Why some File Names Red in contact view?

Why are 'some' of my file names red? See attached.
All Files Type: Canon 1DX III, RAW files (*.cr3)
Labels: File Name + Lens
File Name Coding: yymmdd_counter txt description
Files are not rated.
Files color code blue = RAW file
Why are some file names red?

This indicates that the full size image could not be loaded or is in progress.  Are you using RAW rendering?

Yes. That was the problem. I turned it off in settings (Render Cache tab).
