shortcut problem

When I click on the command key+E my images will no longer open in photoshop. A fix?

Have you verified that Photoshop is still set to be opened by your Launching Preferences and the path to the application has not been changed since you set it? (For example, every year when Adobe updates Photoshop, the path to their application changes with the year. If you just updated from the 2021 to the 2022 version, this will break Photo Mechanic's ability to find the program and launch it.  See this document for more information: https://docs.camerabits.com/support/solutions/articles/48001145596-launching-preferences
