I've just been working on a set of (phone) photographs, all taken at the same time. They're in a folder with everything else on my archive drive. When I first viewed the set in PM one file showed as a black rectangle but with its green dot at bottom right. On the black placeholder was "File error. Contact sheet Rescan needed." After the rescan the image appeared but with neither a green nor yellow dot.
The file should be much the same as all the others in the folder. PM will reveal it in its folder, open it, edit metadata etc as with any other image but why no coloured dot?
