IPTC data does not "take"
« on: April 22, 2022, 10:03:57 AM »
In a few images (.jpg & .png)downloaded from Facebook recently, applying IPTC data either from a chosen template or directly by opening the field in the image itself in a contact sheet, then closing and looking at the image in contact sheet, nothing "took"; Again opening the Info field, there is nothing there.  I found that opening the image in PREVIEW (MacOS) & exporting in a new format (.jpg or .tiff), the new file then "takes" when adding IPTC data.  Not sure whether this is something in PM+ or elsewhere like the file from the Facebook post from someone else.  Any thoughts? (earlier posts from the same person had worked perfectly!). (No error messages, by the way, when working with the offending files).

It's a bug introduced in the 6424 build.  You can downgrade to the 6375 build.  All of the builds are available here: http://forums.camerabits.com/index.php?board=15.0
