keyword Search
« on: May 21, 2007, 04:31:10 AM »
I have just started using PM and find it an excellent Program the only feature missing for me is a keyword search on all images, not just the current contact sheet open. Is this planned for a future release or if not would it be possible to include this feature. I have used Extensis and Photostation and have used trial versions of other programs but much prefer PM, this added feature would make it the perfect browser.

On a Mac you can use the Edit > Search menu to run a spotlight search for images on your hard drives.  I find this covers most of my searching needs and I rarely use iView now.

Thanks for the reply Sam but I am running windows and the manual for PM says that the spotlight search is only available for the Mac platform.

We're in the process of adding a cataloging capability to Photo Mechanic, but its availability is still months away.
