how do i view the contents of a folder sorted by date ingested and/or shot?

Is "Sort By"... modification time, capture time and in use with the tons of possible variables not enough?
using the latest version of PM on win10

Change the Sort: popup menu in the toolbar to "Capture Time" or "Modification Time".

thank you very much.  i am still getting used to the vocabulary.  "capture" to me meant when it was ingested not "shot".  again thank you for your quick response.

Yes, capture time is the time at which the shutter was released and the image was "captured".
