Support for PNG images?

I realize that PNG images aren't used for photos much, but I do use them for other purposes and beeing able to view them in PM would mean that I wouldn't have to have another application for them.

So, is there any chance for PNG support in the future?

If you install a recent version of QuickTime, PNG files work just fine in Photo Mechanic.
