Sinar 54 LV
« on: August 24, 2007, 02:46:11 AM »
Hi am using a sinarback 54 LV and making DNGs with brumaers software

I can browse them in PM but not double click to enlarge

Any chance of this working or me doing something to the files to make them readable in PM

SMM

Can you upload a sample image to our server?  Contact me directly by clicking on my name and sending me a "Personal message".  I'll respond back with server upload information.

Thanks,

-Kirk

I got your sample file.  It does not appear to have an embedded preview, only an embedded thumbnail.  Because there is no preview contained in the file it does not open up in the Preview window.

The person who wrote the converter tool you are using may be able to add a setting to generate a high-quality embedded JPEG preview.  If these DNG files had previews in them then they would preview just fine.

Photo Mechanic does not currently render DNG files.

Thanks for the clarification.

The DNGs are most likely the simplest possible rendering from the Sinar Raw file
