basic editing question
« on: September 05, 2007, 04:14:29 PM »
hi there

I'm totally new here so please forgive this basic question.
After taggging all my 'outs' I've selected them.  Now I'm stuck.  Is there
a 'create new folder' option for me to put these 'baddies' into?
How do you recommend separating the good from the bad?

many thanks

You can use the Navigator to create a new folder, just right-click (or Ctrl-click if you're on a Mac with a single-button mouse) on the folder you want to create a new folder inside and you'll see a menu item that will create a new folder.  Then you can drag the selection with the mouse to your new folder which will move them there.

Or you can use the Copy Photos command on the File menu which will allow you to copy/move/rename and apply captions in one step.  When you choose the destination folder the folder-picker dialog will have a button that allows you to create a new folder.

HTH,

-Kirk
