« on: September 08, 2007, 04:03:08 AM »

How can I do:-

(Images are:- football players)

How can I add names to each image -- example
(image1) Jimmy Black with the ball
(image 2) Paddy kelly --GREAT SAVE-

I can caption all the images with the same caption, but need to make them all diff.....

Sportsman, I'm not sure I understand your questions fully, but I'll try...

Selecting all the images with football players would be easiest if you added a keyword to them (e.g. "football player")

How can I add names to each image -- example
(image1) Jimmy Black with the ball
(image 2) Paddy kelly --GREAT SAVE-

I can caption all the images with the same caption, but need to make them all diff.....
Just give each image it's own caption just the way you want it.

Now I'm re-reading your post, I'm thinking you are mixing up the IPTC stationary pad (with which you can enter the same IPTC information on a whole bunch of images) with entering the IPTC information of a single image.  The latter is done by pressing the I on the photo of your choice.

Hope this helps.

It can help a lot to read the PM manual:

Working on Mac, OSX, iOS and with some Canons.
Allways shooting RAW.
