Joe,

How do I see the key words that I have assigned to a photo(s)

Several ways:

1) You can put the {keywords} variable in one of the extra lines of text that appear under the filenames in the thumbnails (Open the Preferences dialog, click on the Contact Sheet tab and add an additional label.  Enter the {keywords} variable.)

2) You can put the {keywords} variable in the Info Text (Edit->Set Info Text...) and then you can see them:
   A) When you have Info Tooltips turned on (Image->Show Info Tooltips)
   B) When you right-click on a photo you can move your mouse onto the Info submenu.
   C) In the Preview window in the Info Text pane on the right-hand side.

3) You can also see them in the IPTC Info dialog (click the 'i' button when your mouse is over a thumbnail)

4) You can see them in web galleries, printed contact sheets and proofs, slideshows, etc.  Once again, enter the {keywords} variable in each of these features.

HTH,
