Since upgrading (leopard) I'm having problems with contact sheets.... I insert the "(page) of total page number" at the header....it shows the wrong page number when I print or print/save as pdf.  I print between 50 and 200 contacts of every job I do so this becomes an issue for me.  Any ideas?

Thanks     chris

None off the top of my head.  What variable(s) are you using in the header?

(page) is not a variable but {page} is.

What exactly do you enter in the header?
What would the sequence of page numbers look like?
Are you printing partial ranges of the total number of pages?

I put the project name, then {page} of 50 (or however many total pages there are

I'm printing full range

The sequrnce is missing the first 3 pages...

so page one is calling itself page 3, 2 is 4 and so on

OK, so this is contact sheet printing, not proofs, right?

I will have to try this out myself on Leopard.  If I can reproduce it, I'll get it fixed.

Thanks Kirk

If it doesn't happen when you try it let me know - maybe something is messed up at my end.

The same thing has happened again...It was fine for awhile but after not using the program for a few weeks the same problem has popped up.  I really don't want to do an re install again - any ideas?

Can you tell me how to reproduce this problem on my end?  Please post a screenshot of your Print dialog and the following print job dialog so I can see your settings.

Thanks,

-Kirk

Yes.  I see how the problem could happen.  It is because of the print preview on the Print job dialog.  It is asking PM to render a page which causes the page count to go up as many times as you look at a preview so when the final job starts, the page variable is incorrect.

I'll see what I can do to reset the page count when the "real" job starts.

Kirk  Are you talking about something I can do at my end or something you will have to tweak on the next PM upgrade?

Thanks

Chris
