Ingest Problem with Leopard 10.5.1
« on: November 21, 2007, 07:08:19 AM »
Hi

I have a problem ingesting on a Macbook Pro 2GHz Intel Core Duo 2GB Ram using Leopard 10.5.1 and a Lexar firewire card reader.
This is a problem that has also occurred with Adobe Lightroom 1.3

Basically some of the files are imported OK but quite a few do not get imported & I get some unreadable files with really weird names such as 0000000000cadc7f    and fseventsd-uuid 09-51-58

Going back to the finder I can happily drag the files across from the compact flash card & then use them as normal (at which point they show up fine in PM & act normally)

Any suggestions ?

Best wishes

Stephen

Absolutely.  Go to the Announcements section of the forums and get the 4.5.3 beta and use it instead of 4.5.2.  It will solve that problem and several other Leopard-related issues.
