Can't burn CD spans with external DVD
« on: January 05, 2008, 11:49:25 PM »
Hi.

Using my laptop with Vista home on it and connected to an external DVD writer (made by LG) I can't burn disk that span more than two disk.  Halfway through the burn of the third disk, the dvd burner kicks the disk back and PM says it is not readible.  I put a new disk in and PM then crashes.  I don't have a problem with my desktop running XP.  I got the following error message:

My laptop (PC) has a 3500+ processor rated at 1.8GHZ with 1.4GB RAM running VISTA home edition.

I've wasted 5 disks trying to do this so far and each time I start over I have to burn the first two disk again.  Any suggestions?????

No, not at this time unfortunately.  The people who make the disc burning SDK came out with a newer version which I plan to use in 4.6.  Hopefully it will fix your problem.
