Please help me figure out how to reproduce the bug and I'll fix it right away.  I'd suggest copying (or deleting) smaller amounts of folders (do it systematically) until it runs again.  Then you'll know which set of files causes the problem.

SendPhotosDialogSettings
WatermarkingDialogSettings

These are all simple text files without paths in it..  Over some period of time PM works, and then, abruptly - not any more. Are the crash reports I sent no help for you?

No, they're not of much use unfortunately.  I'd be happy to create a debug logging version that will log the startup sequence and would likely pinpoint where the problem is happening.  Let me know if you want to try.

Of course! I think this is the best way to find out the reason.
Let me know, where and when I can find this extended debug version!

Hi,

I have the same problem. I think the problem is, the cache. I have to empty the cache now before every start manually. Then PM works.

Peer,

Hi,

You can set Photo Mechanic to empty the disk cache on exit.  Try setting that in the Caching tab of the Preferences dialog of Photo Mechanic.

luckily, just at the moment PM begans to crash again

after deleting cache/* , PM starts again.

As work around I set now "empty cache on exit"
