Numeric keypad glitch?

Kirk,
I just found out that if I try to use the numeric keypad's - or  /  when entering captions that it advances the photo instead of typing the character.  The num lock is on and typing the characters from the regular keyboard works just not the keypad side of the keyboard.

Win XP / 3gb Ram / PM 4.5.3.1

Those keys are shortcut keys assigned to go forward/backward through the photos.
