hybrid cursor mode

The new loupe cursor mode is very nice, but would it be possible to select the image file without first right clicking, then left clicking outside the menu that pops up, in order to select that image? It would make it that much easier to tag images after ascertaining proper focus in the thumbnail. Thanks in advance.

Never mind, I found the answer in a different post PM rocks! But perhaps clicking the thumbnail background area, not just the bottom, would help speed up the selection process further.
