ftp problem
« on: June 13, 2008, 12:04:41 PM »
Hi, Ive been getting error message "there were errors during ftp as operation".
This is really frustrating, I've been trying & retrying for 8 hours!.
I've done all the obvious things, shutting down & restarting over & over.
I'm reduced to burning the files to cd and manually delivering them.
What is wrong? Anyone know?
I've been ftp'ing for months without any problems.

David

Thanks Kirk,
I've just called and spoke to Bob who patiently took me thru' several steps, I successfully ftp'd camerabits,
and I managed to send a frame from a different contact sheet to the ftp address I was trying before.
But I still can't send the original batch of files, about 250 mbs without getting the error message.
I tried to send just one of the original problem files, about 2.7 mb, but I just got the error message again.

David. I'm in England its 9.50pm at the moment!

Is there some other FTP application you could use in the meantime?  The only other thing I can think of is that the FTP server messages will be in a file called PM.log on your system, so if you want to call support again and work with Bob then he can relay the log file on to the engineer who works on the FTP features and then maybe we can solve your problem for good.
