Add to selection (opposite of dismiss)
« on: June 29, 2008, 09:04:05 PM »
I discovered by accident the D key that as the manual says dismisses from show and selection the image currently viewed in the Preview window. I find it a great tool but I would more like a shortcut key with the exact opposite function: when viewing images not yet selected it could add the selected image to the selection. When user quits preview window the images he/she used this new key would then be added to the selected images.

With this possibility one needs not to quit preview find the image just seen in full screen then select it and return to the preview mode to check out the next image. It could help in cases where I use tags and other markings for different purposes and need to select images for a certain operation (ie: copy, FTP, etc). As I understand it could also help being used with write protected media whose IPTC metadata and as such the tagging couldnt be modified but still need to select from images.
Working on Mac, OSX, iOS and with some Canons.
Allways shooting RAW.
