Photo Mechanic keeps crashing

I keep having Photo Mechanic crash on me when trying to drag a folder into the main frame for viewing the images as a contact sheet.
Only just started happening so not sure what's gone wrong? Can't use it now until I get this fixed.

It would really help to know several pieces of information:

What OS are you running?
What version of Photo Mechanic are you running?
What kind of pictures are contained in the folder you're trying to view?
What happens if you try to open that folder through some other means than drag and drop?

Hi,
I'm using Mac OS 10.4.11
Using PM 4.5.3.1.
Trying to view jpegs-there's around 1200 images in the folder so not sure if it's due to the high number of files?
It still crashes when opening them from the folder tree system.

Are you filing crash reports?  If you do then I can see where in PM the crash is occurring.

There aren't any reports to file. It simply dissapears from my screen and I have to re-launch PM.
Sometimes the software is working and other times it's not. Very strange.
