it would be great to have an option within preferences to set the default viewing mode on contact sheets.
In Preferences -> Contact Sheet there is an option to select the default sorting mode.
Just put a 2nd menu there to choose the default viewing mode. I tag some NEF files (especially if there is a TIF copy) and it would be fine to just view the untagged images automatically if a contact sheet opens.
