Modifying and Replacing Snapshots
« on: February 07, 2009, 05:56:49 AM »
Every Year we have to update all our Snapshots...(we finally figured out to use current year variable for the copyright... duh)
Its pretty cumbersome.
Couldnt we have save (replace current) and save as (new name) options.
That way youre not typing in and replacing names which leads to spelling errors multiple entries etc.
Also an edit list function rather than the non intuitive option click on the name of the snapshot (as a quick add on, how about option clicking save shows the .snaps folder).
You are the best

Have you tried the version 4.6 beta?  The Snapshot dialog now has a popup menu listing the current snapshots and it makes it quite easy to replace a current snapshot.  There's no edit list function but option-click (or Shift-click on Windows) shows the snapshot (and therefore the parent snapshot folder).
