No preview for Leaf .mos Raw files?
« on: February 17, 2009, 08:05:04 AM »
Hi,

I just noticed that PM can't show the enlarged preview for the .mos files from a Leaf back (there's no magnifier button, and double clicking on the image doesn't work either). I don't shoot often with their backs, so I never noticed this before, but I see this was true for 4.5 as well. Not sure if this is an easily corrected oversight or if getting the full size view from these files is more difficult than for other Raw files.

Leaf RAW images only have a very small JPEG thumbnail in them.  There is no embedded preview and we have no way to render them.  Thus no preview icon.

Hi Kirk,

I suspected that might be the case. I guess Bridge can do this because Adobe's Raw processors can process them, so they've already cracked the file type.
