4.6 beta Set GPS question
« on: February 22, 2009, 05:08:42 PM »
On OS X 10.5.6 (Peryn Mac Book Pro, 4 GB RAM) and the new beta:

I set SETTINGS> SET GPS HOME - the map updates to the correct location.  I click accept and close the dialog box.  I then go to IMAGE > SET GPS COORDINATES and I expect that the default location should be the "home" location.  But it's not - it's Hillsboro.

I have to put my local address in the SET GPS COORDINATES box and go from there which is a slight hassle since I have to do that every time I open that dialog.

Am I doing this correctly?

Yes, you're doing it correctly.  The next build of 4.6 will use your home coordinates as the initial coordinate.

Thanks.  Looks pretty nifty if I can get my Garmin Oregon to behave...
