While you can set an absolute date/time for a photo in the Adjust Capture Date/Time dialogue, it in fact translates to a relative adjustment when you execute the adjustment. This is noticeable when you adjust the datetime on a batch of photos as they get adjusted relatively.

This is great as this is usually what you'd want anyway. However, I quite regularly (e.g., when I want to set the date(time) of scanned slides/negatives) run into cases where I want to adjust the capture date/time to a fixed setting. Currently this means I have to manually adjust all photos.

So here's my request: could the dialogue get an option to be able to specify a relative versus an absolute adjustment?

Thanks,
