bug in version 4.6 slide show short cut keys not working properly

doing according to manual for selection of images with a slide show it is not possible to assign color classes by pressing cmd 1-8,0 instead of color classes the stars are inserted.

It sounds like you have your single key shortcuts set to set ratings instead of color classes.  Check the Accessibility tab of the Preferences dialog.
