Possible to refresh a .dng file?
« on: March 29, 2009, 02:04:34 PM »
I do most of my editing in Light Room, but all my browsing in PM. Most often, after I edit I convert my raw files to .dng. So far no problem with PM as I can see my .dng edited files as I would expect. Now, I go back to Light Room and say turn a file from color to B&W I will not see the change in PM.

Is there a way to see these changes or are they solely stored perhaps in the light room catalog?

thanks.

You would need to get LR to update the embedded JPEG preview in the DNG file.  Then PM would show the changes.
