background color of histogram

hi there. i'ii try PhotoMechanic for a week.
i feel so fast and convenience application.
but i have one question.
open my Preview Window and i look at Histogram section
it's background color is GRAY (not in BLACK)
why it's not BLACK?  ???

Why does the background need to be black?  The gray background color is just the background color of the window.  You would never see actual histogram information that is gray in our histogram anyway since only primary colors will appear in the histogram (Red, Green, Blue, Magenta, Cyan, Yellow, White, etc.)

yes, need not to be black.
but i think black is easy to see.
and your manual (page:21) looks like black.

It did indeed used to be black.  We changed it.
