Progresive JPEG conversion
« on: April 09, 2009, 11:20:03 AM »
Good afternoon,

First post to the forums.

After a quick search of the forum, I did not locate any information on my query.

I wonder if PM has a way of 'normalizing' JPEGs on export or save-out.  We receive a number of JPEGs from outside sources that we pass through PM, and would like to weed out the Progressive JPEGs and 'normalize' them to Baseline.

Any way to do this with PM?

PM4.3.8
XP2
1GB RAM

also...

PM4.5.2
OS 10.5.6
4GB RAM

??  Any help appreciated,

/timothy

Do you want PM to indicate which JPEGs are progressive?  Otherwise, just using Save As on any JPEG would make it non-progressive.

Also, since you have PM 4.5.2, make sure to get version 4.5.4 from our website.  It has several bug fixes over the 4.5.2 version.
