Setting Modification Date as Variable

I know it's possible to sort thumbnails according to modification date, but I don't see an option to display the modification date among the "Image Info" data.  Can I set a variable to show the "date edited" information?

There is currently no variable available that shows the modification date/time.  They are being added for version 4.6 however.

Looking into V4.6 I still cannot find a variable - if it is there, can you please hint the headline.
