Ingest using folder sequence feature
« on: May 20, 2009, 05:26:02 PM »
I am using PM 4.6 on an iMac 3.06 running 10.5.7 with 4 GB RAM and have noticed a glitch since the upgrade to PM 4.6

I always using the sub folder feature upon ingest so photos fall into a second folder within the main which I title "raw". In earlier versions I didn't have a problem with this operation. In 4.6, I notice that when I click the "Use Folder Sequence" box, a variable is automatically inserted into the "Folder Name" box. The variable is {iseq} but this doesn't allow a sub folder creation.

Attached is a screenshot. I hope someone can help me. Perhaps I am doing something wrong.

With Thanks.

Hi,

Sub-folders can be specified in the folder name field.  The optional folder sequence field should be a number.

For example,

Folder name: Todd-{iseq}/raw
Folder sequence: 1234

Or,

Folder name: Todd/raw/{iseq}
Folder sequence: 1234

etc.

The {iseq} variable will be replaced with the folder sequence.
