Problem with color labels Beta and 4.6 on MAC OSX 10.5.7

On my MBP with OSX 10.5.7 and 4 GB RAM I have the problem that sometimes it is not possible to give a colour labe to files.

Only the restart of PM helps. The other problem it take really long to choose only the selected labels.

The process of sorting takes really  really long. Also sorting by type etc.

Could be the problem the Beta Version existing on the same machine.

Do I have to delete the prefs or what could I do ?

Please download and use the 4.6.1 beta 8 version of Photo Mechanic.  You can get it from the Announcements section of the forums.
