Uploading to Zenfolio issue
« on: June 10, 2009, 09:51:28 AM »
I get the following error message when trying to upload to Zenfolio.

the file name[error: Unsupported image filename type for upload]

The files are a standard 001.name.JPG file naming structure. I am using PM 4.6.1. I searched the forum and wasn't able to locate any other threads regarding this issue. Has anyone else had this problem? I can create galleries but I can't upload the images.

Are the images you're uploading already JPEGs?  Are you uploading Originals or Saved as JPEG?

I just tested it and it worked fine.  Can you post a screenshot of your settings in the Zenfolio template?  Use the 'Additional Options..." link when you compose your reply to upload your image.

It appears to have problems with a sequence followed by a . then the filename. It uploads files with 001_filename instead of 001.filename

OK, so what is your renaming string exactly?  Or if you're not renaming, what is an example of a full filename that doesn't work?

001.filename.jpg doesn't work. 001_filename.jpg does work.

OK.  I was able to reproduce the problem, but it appears to be on Zenfolio's end.  I'll contact them and see what can be done.

The issue was in the Zenfolio Uploader template.  I have fixed it and it will be in the next update.
