PM and Capture IPTC Data Format...
Marty Ojaste:
PM annotating a NEF seems to be different. If I do the following,
• PM used to add IPTC
• Edit in NX
• Hit Save.
• Get error from NX
--- Quote ---Please enter the date in the format mm/dd/yyyy
--- End quote ---
• My Windows system default is YYYYDDMM
• PM uses Windows System Default
However, if I annotate using iView, Bridge or NX it works.
Is there a standard format for the IPTC dates?

You edit what in NX?

Yes, and is completely separate from how it is displayed in a dialog. PM writes out the date in the proper IPTC date format when it creates the IPTC record.

Marty Ojaste:
Thanks,
I edit just the image. I leave the IPTC data alone.
Did a another test and changed the default date format to mm/dd/yyyy in Windows regional setting and repeated the steps, there was no errors.
When I changed the date back to yyyymmdd, the error comes back.

How about you upload two files to our server. One in the "default" date format, and one with the date adjusted to your preferred format. I will examine the two files.
Let me know when the files have been uploaded.
Thanks,

Marty Ojaste:
Kirk,
I did send it last night, but it died on the last file.
Over the past few hours I've tried a number of times to FTP, it connects (I can see the server folder structure), but does not allow any transfers.
