Key strokes for assigning color tags
« on: August 24, 2009, 06:34:22 PM »
Hey

I am using a MAC and have assigned CMD and a number to assign a color tag to images.

Trouble is I am editing a lot of files and my finger is not long enough to reach CMD and the number!

I'm guessing that there is no way you can just assign a number without the CMD, SFT or OPT key?    Thanks...Iain

If you have only one photo selected (which is very common) then there are single key shortcuts for rating and color class.  See the 'Accessibility' tab of the Preferences dialog for more information.

Aahhh - My hand thanks you!      ;D

Seems I missed that shortcut when reading the manual.   Best...Iain

It can also help to use game controllers that have programmable keys to assign the desired keytstrokes and have them in one hand. I use a Nostromo Speedpad for most of my editings and main color codes and keystrokes are gathered under my fingertips speeding up the use of PM, PS, LR and other programs.
Working on Mac, OSX, iOS and with some Canons.
Allways shooting RAW.
