Text Exporter "Replace Carriage Returns ..." does not work
« on: September 05, 2009, 07:18:41 AM »
PM 4.6.1, OS X 10.5.8 and 10.6

When I check the option "Replace Carriage Returns & Line Feeds with Single Space", nothing happens. I still get a text file with every entry in a new line.

What I need however is a text file where all entries are one after another, just separated by a space.

What's wrong?

That feature refers to removing line endings that may appear in expanded variables only.  When you enter text in the variables area in the Text exporter, whatever expands from your variables will have a line ending added on per file processed.

That's just the way it works.
