Filter on File Type
« on: November 14, 2009, 06:19:29 AM »
When I do a spotlight search I usually end up with two or three copies of the same file-- NEFs, JPEGs, TIFFs, etc.  I'd like a filter button to show/hide

-RAW
-TIFF
-JPEG

Just like I can filter on labels and ratings, I think this would be a great feature.

You can setup a number of custom sorting options this can help to solve your problem. However with sorting you cannot filter on filetype you can sort the files by type this way making it easyer to work with them. Or just to mark them with a given color code, rating or tag and then making it possible to filter them for later work.

This is not a complete solution for your problem, rahter a workaround to make your life somewhat easyer.
Working on Mac, OSX, iOS and with some Canons.
Allways shooting RAW.
