Variables applying as text in meta-data fields...
« on: November 05, 2009, 12:35:29 PM »
I have a user in my department with a MacBookPro running OSX 10.6.1 and PM 4.6.1.  He is not a member of the forums so I am posting on his behalf.

When he tries to use variables in the IPTC Keyword field, the text of the variable applies not the data: {filenamebase} appears as "{filenamebase}" not "20091101_MSB_0001".

Is this an OSX issue?

Thanks

Phil

Unlikely.  Is he using the IPTC Info dialog or the IPTC Stationery Pad dialog?

Looks like it was one of those little quirks that was cleared up with a permissions reset and a reboot.
