move files
« on: November 21, 2009, 08:25:31 AM »
Greetings...

I ingest to a folder on one drive, tag, mark, etc...  I then want to 'move' the files to the photo drive to the correct folder...

Right now I select the images and drag to the folder I want on the photo drive and I am left with images in the ingest folder...

Is there a way to default the drag and drop to 'move'?

Thank you...

Ed

Since you're on Windows, you can do a right-click-drag to your destination.  A contextual menu will appear.  Choose the Move option.

Hi Kirk...

Right click and I get a copy option, then move box opens and then select destination, etc...

When I have the ingest folder on the photo drive I just highlight the photos and drag and drop...  that is what I was looking to do between drives...   ;D

Out of all the great things PM does this is small potatos, but a nice time saver...

Thanks...
