Export web page and images without profiles

What does export html do with an image without a profile if "convert to sRGB" checked? I assume it does nothing to the image data and just tags the image as sRGB.

Could the way images without profiles are handled be added to the manual?

It uses the color profile that you specified to be used as default in the Color Management tab of the Preferences dialog.
