safe as to fit box in cm
« on: May 12, 2010, 02:41:46 AM »
hi
my regional newspaper needs often to save an image with a certain size in length or in height to fit the space.
command save as opens box with on the right side some options.
image processing>scaling>to fit box
in europe we miss the cm option
further it would be of an advantage the either check length and insert a value an then the height is automatically calculated or the same with the height to insert a value and the length is calculated.
there is enough space at the right side of the box to insert my wish....
thanks for this new feature
regards

In the Files tab of the Preferences dialog, set your Resolution units to 'pixels per cm' instead of 'pixels per inch'

In the 'to custom width: height:' fields, just set the other field to zero and it will be automatically calculated.
