Zoom help
« on: March 14, 2010, 09:53:58 PM »
I am running version 4.6 on a Macbook Pro with OS X 10.6.2

When you have the single photo and are scrolling through them, I do not have the zoom or crop features. I am sure it is just a setting someplace but do not know where it is.

Also, what are the best setting for this to run quickly? I have a core 2 duo and 4 gb ram.

Thanks Larz

Press 'r' to restore the panes so you can see them.

I wouldn't set the Memory Cache any higher than 512MB on your system.  You can set the Disk Cache to 1024MB if you like, but 512MB would suffice.

Thanks Kirk, that fixed it!

Why did that happen? Any ideas?

You probably pressed 'f' to go into full screen, or you used the Toolbar item that does the same thing.

OK, I looked all over for something to put it back but could not find anything.

Thanks for your quick help!

There is a button in the toolbar that restores the panes as well.  The Preview window is documented starting on page 27 of the 4.6.3 manual.  You can get the manual here:
