You should uninstall the previous versions and then install the latest version.

How do you 'uninstall' ?
I've always simply deleted the previous app file after a week or two of adding the new one...
(I'm on a Mac).

On the Mac, there is no uninstaller.  Just drag the application to the Trash and empty the Trash.

So to be perfectly clear on this subject should I uninstall ALL currently installed versions of PM then reinstall the latest beta version? or is it ok to just delete all earlier versions? Thanks for your help.

Uninstall all, then install new version (beta or release)

I always use the "replace" option, its no correct? I just drag the new version and replace the old one.

The original post was regarding the Windows version.  The advice I posted does not apply to Mac OS X users.

You can go ahead and drag and drop, replacing as you have done all along on the Mac.
