Live Ingest and ftp

Anyway such feature could be a great addon to PM's Live Ingest feature.

I agree. This would be a dream feature for major events like the Oscars. Here's how I would love to see it work.

1.  Selected images transferred from camera via wifi to watched folder on laptop.

2.  PM automatically ingests from that folder applying any IPTC data that has been set up and renames images.

3.  PM uploads resized images to pre-designated ftp server.

OK, Kirk, we've got five months until the Oscars. How about it?

is there any progress or solution in this issue? I have a WT-5 wireless transmitter and I'm looking for a way to send the images out of the Nikon D4 over PM directly to the newspaper ftp server.

No.  It is not a priority for us right now.  The engineer responsible for Live Ingest is steadfastly working on Catalog now, and everything else will have to wait.

I understand. thank you for the answer, Kirk. Anybody knows, how I could make that work? I tried to set the ftp server path as a secondary destination, but it didn't work. any other ideas?
