Hi All,

I never used PM, but i did website for guys, and they using different kind of software to change meta data, and they using PM as well. Question is

Why PM is adding caption to Comments and Subject instead of Description? Is there any way that i can change in the settings? I have to double my database for that 2 row.

Photo Mechanic does not modify the EXIF description tag.  PM edits IPTC and XMP metadata in general.  There is some EXIF metadata that PM will modify like capture time/date and GPS coordinates, but not the EXIF description tag.

The IPTC dialog that PM users use to enter the Caption field are editing the IPTC caption field.

There is no way to force PM to edit the EXIF description tag.
