The preference export does not seem to include the User/Client snapshots.

It furthermore does not seem to import the snapshots of other settings properly if you select multiple sets in one go. Selecting groups of similar snapshots individually seems to work Ok though…

Not a real biggy, but still  :D

Cheers,

Hayo,

Thanks, I'll look into the User/Client export/import issue.  What other settings are you having problems with, and how many of them do you have to attempt to import for the problem to occur?

Hi Kirk,

I was preparing an old, but fresh Windows XP SP3 install, laptop with a copy of PM 4.6.6. The settings were coming from my Mac 4.6.7 (beta 1) version. I exported and imported every available setting, but somehow the snapshots didn't get through. Only when I selected the individual "groups" did it seem to work (hereby skipping the ones I would not need on the laptop).
I have snapshots for the following "groups":
  • IPTC (copied most of these over "manually")
  • Copy Photos (skipped)
  • Ingest (copied most of these over "manually")
  • Rename Photos (copied one of these over "manually")
  • Save Photos (skipped)
  • Send Photos (skipped)
  • User/Client (no snapshots available to copy)

Hope this allows you to find the problem (it could of course been a single entry that causes all of them to fail…)

Thanks,
    Hayo
