Wildcards in code replacements
« on: February 24, 2011, 07:21:09 AM »
It would be nice to have wildcards in CR as I could simplify something like:

Capture NX 2.2.6 W   NX2
Capture NX 2.2.0 W   NX2
Capture NX 2.2.4 W   NX2
Capture NX 2.1.1 W   NX2
Capture NX 2.1.0 W   NX2
Capture NX 2.0.0 W   NX2
Capture NX 1.3.3 W   NX
Capture NX 1.3.0 W   NX
Capture NX 1.2.0 W   NX
Capture NX 1.1.0 W   NX
Capture NX 1.0.1 W   NX

to:

Capture NX 2.* W   NX2
Capture NX 1.* W   NX

Sounds interresting. Maybe like DOS used wildcards:
* any number of characters
? only one character

But I'm afraid it could lead to unpredicted and unforeseeable situations.
Working on Mac, OSX, iOS and with some Canons.
Allways shooting RAW.
